Walter F. Wiggins, MD, PhD

As Director of Clinical AI at Radiology Partners, Dr. Wiggins collaborates with a team of Directors to lead the validation, deployment, and monitoring of AI tools across the largest radiology practice in the US. He works closely with Strategy, Operations, IT, and Clinical Software Engineering teams to develop internal AI-driven solutions and evaluate external tools that enhance clinical quality and radiologist efficiency. 

Dr. Wiggins’ expertise lies in leveraging large language models (LLMs) for report analysis, information extraction, validation, monitoring, and summarization. By integrating these technologies, he and his team seek to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and optimize patient care.
