Leonardo Kayat Bittencourt, MD, PhD

Dr. Leonardo Kayat Bittencourt, MD, PhD, serves as Vice Chair of Innovation in the Department of Radiology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and as an Associate Professor of Radiology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Specializing in abdominal imaging, his research focuses on advanced diagnostic technologies, particularly multiparametric MRI (mpMRI) for prostate cancer detection. Dr. Bittencourt has authored over 45 peer-reviewed publications and delivered more than 100 invited presentations. He is an active member of the Cancer Imaging Program at the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center and contributes to the American College of Radiology’s PI-RADS steering committee.
