Dr. Farouk Dako is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, specializing in cardiothoracic imaging. He directs global and population health research in radiology at Penn, focusing on advancing health equity through data-driven initiatives. Dr. Dako earned his medical degree from St. George’s University and an MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He completed a surgical internship at the Mayo Clinic, a diagnostic radiology residency at Temple University, and fellowships in cardiothoracic radiology and imaging informatics at the University of Maryland.
